Fancesa anuncia que buscará igualar producción del grupo Soboce
La Fábrica Nacional de Cemento "Sucre" (FANCESA) podría alcanzar una producción de dos millones de toneladas anuales a partir del 2016, con lo que igualará en capacidad al grupo "Soboce", el principal del país, de acuerdo con sus proyecciones anunciadas por sus principales ejecutivos.
La cementera chuquisaqueña tiene previsto elevar su producción de 800 mil toneladas a 1.100.000 toneladas en 2013 y, dentro de tres años, con la instalación de una nueva planta, alcanzar un volumen de dos millones de toneladas.
"FANCESA empezará a producir dos millones de toneladas a partir del 2016, lo que nos permitiría competir en igualdad de condiciones con todo el grupo Soboce", anunció el gerente general Mirko Gardilcic a medios locales.
En la actualidad, la cementera tiene una participación nacional del 27%, pero a corto plazo llegaría a tener un 33%, mientras que en un futuro cubriría el 55% de la oferta de cemento en el país.
El actual proyecto de mejoramiento de su línea de producción contempla tres fases: trituración, molino de crudo y el horno Kawasaki, cuya inversión a la fecha es de $us 43 millones. En este punto vale recalcar lo que días antes había indicado el síndico jurídico del Directorio, Valerio Llanos, que tras sendos retrasos en la puesta en marcha del proyecto Kawasaki, finalmente previsto para enero próximo, éste podría diferirse por otro lapso más con el consiguiente perjuicio para la cementera.
Llanos adelantó que se requerirá un informe completo del porqué de los constantes retrasos en el avance de este proyecto de ampliación de la capacidad de producción inmediata.
Con este proyecto, FANCESA incrementará su capacidad actual de producción, que bordea las 800 mil toneladas año, en un 40%, vale decir, aproximadamente 300 mil toneladas más, lo que permitirá en 2013 alcanzar un nivel de producción de aproximadamente 1.100.000 toneladas año. Adicionalmente, prevé implementar dentro de tres años una nueva fábrica con capacidad de 900.000 toneladas año.
